Raden Ajeng Dyah Ayu Puspitarani (Rani) obtained her medical degree in 2020 from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. In 2021, she worked as an emergency room general practitioner while continuing her position as a research assistant and project manager in Genetics Working Group, Universitas Gadjah Mada. During this period, she explored her interest in translational research, which led her to join UMCG Cardiology in 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Daan Westenbrink. Her current project aims to improve heart transplantation through pharmacological therapy.
