Colinda van Deutekom

Physician-scientist

Colinda van Deutekom studied medicine at the University of Groningen. During her Master of Medicine, she engaged in research at the department of cardiology at the University Medical Centre Groningen. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree in August 2021. In October 2021, she started working as a PhD candidate under supervision of prof. dr. Michiel Rienstra and prof. dr. Isabelle C. van Gelder.

Her research focuses on the topic of multimorbidity and atrial fibrillation. Her main project in this field will be the EHRA-paths project.
