Two Groningen cardiology researchers awarded with Dekker Grant!

We are incredibly proud that two of our talented cardiology researchers have been awarded the Dekker Grant from the Dutch Heart Foundation.

💊 Dr. Jozine ter Maaten investigates how patients with heart failure can be treated more effectively by placing less emphasis on frequent kidney function checks. Her research aims to reduce hospital admissions and improve patients’ quality of life.

❤️ Dr. Rianne Zandijk studies how heart failure and atrial fibrillation influence each other. This knowledge will help ensure that patients receive the right treatment faster and more precisely.
