After finishing her studies in april 2020, Paulien started her PhD project focusing on non-invasive imaging techniques in ischemic heart disease. She aims to improve clinial outcomes by researching imaging parameters, improving diagnostic algorithms and detecting asymptomatic disease.
Paulien is currently involved in three ongoing clinical trials researching both CT and CMR imaging in various stages of ischemic heart disease.
