Martin Dokter (BSc) was born on 26-07-1982 in Groningen (the Netherlands). After finishing his Junior general secondary education in 1999, he went to the Intermediate Vocational Education (finished in 2004) and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences (finished in 2007) to study the profession of technician.
In 2007, he started working in the UMCG (laboratorium Medical Physiology) for 1 year following internship to do more research on the remyelination of neurons in patience with Multiple Sclerosis. In 2008 he started working for the Experimental Cardiology as research technician.
Samen met de andere leden van het technische team probeert Martin een goed geoliede, comfortabele werk plek te creëren waar onderzoek op hoog niveau kan worden uitgevoerd. In het Lab voert Martin naast algemene taken en het opzetten van nieuwe Immunohistochemische kleuringen/technieken voornamelijk ELISAs en immunohistochemische kleuringen uit.
